SpecDrive is built privacy-first. Your specs, ideas and work stay on your own devices — there's no server to send them to.

01Overview
SpecDrive does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The developer (Rodrigo Andrade) has no access to your specs, ideas, or personal information.
02AI Processing
All AI features use Apple Intelligence via the FoundationModels framework. Every inference runs entirely on your device. No spec content, ideas, or prompts are ever sent to any external server.
03GitHub Integration
If you choose to connect a GitHub account, your OAuth access token is stored exclusively in your device's Keychain. SpecDrive communicates directly with the GitHub API on your behalf, with access scoped exclusively to .specify/ files and CLAUDE.md in your repository. Your GitHub credentials are never transmitted to or stored by SpecDrive's developer.
04iCloud Sync
Project data syncs across your Apple devices via iCloud and CloudKit. This sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and Apple's terms of service.
05Third-Party SDKs
SpecDrive contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. There are no crash reporters, ad networks, or data brokers integrated into the app.
06Data Not Collected
SpecDrive does not collect any of the following:
- Your name
- Email address
- Location
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Any behavioural data
